It was suggested that I set up a page to display scorecards submitted by visitors to this site. I think it's a great idea. This will give each of us a chance to see how others score a game.
If you would like to submit a scorecard, please do so. If you have access to a scanner, you can just e-mail an image of the scorecard to me. Please send it in either .jpg or .gif format.
If you do submit a scorecard for publication, please let me know how you want it credited. If you don't specify that I can use your full name, I will just use your first name and last initial. I won't use anyone's full name without permission. I would also like the any additional information you can give me, such as the team names, date, time, and location. You may also include anything you consider noteworthy. A player reaching some kind of milestone is a good example. Scorecards from any game are acceptable - Major League, Minor League, Little League, high school, college, softball, anything.
My server space is limited and graphic files can be large, so I may not be able to post every scorecard submitted. I will post what I can and then start removing older scorecards in order to post newer ones.
I will try to modify the cards so that they are no wider than 640 pixels. Which means that they will probably be in the neighborhood of 80-100kb by the time I post them. So, they will take a little time to load once you select one. If reducing them to 640 pixel wide makes them unreadable, I will post them at a larger size and the file will take even longer to download.

"This is the game vs the Cardinals that Ryne Sandberg, on national TV hit 2 game
tying home runs. This was the game that gave him the attention he needed to win
the MVP that year. Also, Willie McGee hit for the cycle that day with a triple
in the 2nd, single in the 4th, hr in the 6th and double in the 10th. "
April 30, 1998 -
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs
Scorecard and comments submitted by Tony Serio
This was Kerry Wood’s last start before his 20-K game during his rookie season.
Wood struck out Mark McGwire before Big Mac eventually hit one of his then-record
70 HRs off the Cubs’ bullpen.
From a weather standpoint, the game was delayed over two hours because of rain,
and then a heavy fog rolled in later in the contest.

St. Paul's
High school game scorecard and comments submitted by
Elmer Sellers
"This is a junior varsity game, rather one-sided, in which all the outs

game."

This is a scorecard that my 8 year old son kept while watching the game on
TV. He was sick that day and was forced to stay in bed. So, I gave
him a scorecard to keep him occupied. (I only entered the lineup for him and kept score when he had to leave
the room.)

This is my scorecard from the 96th annual Midnight Sun Baseball Classic
which was played in Fairbanks, Alaska, on June 21, 2001, between the
Fairbanks Alaska Goldpanners of the Alaska Baseball League and the visiting
North County Waves from Oceanside, California. The game started at 10:30 p.m.
and was played in its entirety using no artificial lighting. The game went
13 innings and ended at 2:05 a.m. The ballpark attendance was a capacity
crowd of 3500.

Buffalo Bison vs.
Columbus Clippers
Scorecard and comments by Keith H.
My father-in-law and I are HUGE Cleveland Indians fans.
Unfortunately I live in Columbus, Ohio, home of the Columbus Clippers,
the AAA affiliate of the dreaded New York Yankees. On June 1 we got
tickets to watch Cleveland's AAA affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons, play
the Clippers. We were doubly treated when we saw CoCo Crisp rehabbing
down with Buffalo. As you can see, Crisp went 3-5 that day with a Ground
Rule Double in the 8th. The best part of the day came after the game when
I managed to catch CoCo and obtain his autograph on the scorcard.
Also, eagle eyed Indians fans will notice the number two batter for Buffalo
that day...John Peralta. Both he and Crisp were called up to the Tribe
shortly after this game was scored.
June 7, 2003 -
New York Yankees vs.
Chicago Cubs
Scorecard and comments submitted by isuquinndog
This is the game where Clemens went for win 300 vs. Cubs on June 7, 2003
vs. Kerry Wood. Clemens got pulled early and the very first pitch from
the Yankees reliever was hit for a 3 run HR and Cubs never looked back and
went on to win for the first win over New York in history.
What a terrific game for us Cubs fans!! :)
July 5, 2003 -
Boston Red Sox vs.
New York Yankees
Scorecard and comments submitted by Alan M.
The 6th inning got a little tricky.
July 29, 2003 -
Chicago Cubs vs. San Francisco Giants
Scorecard and comments submitted by John S.
The Cubs had just taken two of three games from Houston at Minute Maid Park
over the weekend and had pushed their record forward to 0.500 with a 52 - 52
record. Matt Clement pitched maybe his best game of the year to carve out
a two-hit, complete-game shutout. The Cubs gave Clement all of the run support
that he would need when in the first inning Moises Alou hit a three-run homer
into the left-field bleachers. Clement was in control all night yielding only
an infield hit in the 4th inning to Marquis Grissom and a little bloop single to
right field in the 7th inning to Andres Galarraga. It was in the 7th inning that
the Giants threatened to score when Galarraga's base hit followed an error by
Aramis Ramirez who flubbed a slow grounder. With runners on first and third and
one one, Clement got Jose Cruz, Jr. to strike out and Edgardo Alfonzo to hit into
an inning-ending fielder's choice at second base. Barry Bonds was only granted
one walk in four plate appearances but was forced to pop out on the infield in his
last two times at bat. Damian Moss took the loss in a 7-inning, quality start. The
Cubs gained a full game on Houston to pull within three and a half games of first
place who fell to Atlanta shortly after the Cubs secured their victory.
